Hey guys, I recently finished a B&M hyper and I decided to make a POV of it. It worked fine but when I looked at the file size it was 3 or 4 gigabytes. Are the files that big for you guys. And does anyone know how I can fix this?

You can cut it down with Windows Movie Maker. I don't use WMM anymore. I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 7 Platinum. It works great, although it's a tad bit expensive.

Drag the file into windows movie maker, press 'make movie', and choose a smaller size for the final product.

Go to 'tasks' at the top of the screen, then scroll down and click 'save to my computer'.

LoL, heres where my problem come in though, I'll choose to save it in my videos, then I click next and choose windows media player, then next again and it goes to save it. Sometimes a message will come up saying "Windows Move Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that all source files used in the movie are still availible (which they are), that the saving location is availible (which it is), and that there is enough disk space avalible (there is). Everything meets the criteria just it is over the maximum of 3 gigs. I deleted some parts of the video and it did start to save but it said 15,000 minutes remaining. It never said anything about resizing the movie file.

Protip for next time: Before you start filming, really shrink the settings of the program. It'll record a smaller screen which will end up with a smaller file size. I doubt you'll need a 1024x768 video.

Never thought about that! Thanks man.
