Cedar Point 9-7, Maverick Video

Well, some of you may remember the full ptr, but I don't have the time to post the whole thing. I made a sweet video of Maverick, combined a few videos, watch the credits if you want to know about them or the song. (which is "Come to Life" by Alter Bridge). So enjoy a few of the pics from my trip back in august, and I might be able to post th rest later :cool:

Thank you guys for sharing Maverick video and loads of close-up pictures. It's good to see close-up ones of coasters, like we can see the tracks, supports, and rides with happy people. :)

Raptor - The rain was so horrrible during the day, but looking back on it, it made the park seem so beautiful. I'm really glad I caught that side of CP's atmosphere. Thanks for the comment.

Voyage - I love capturing Cp's atmosphere, it's so incredible and I love to try to show people just how cool it is to be there :)

I took nearly 700 photographs over the trip, not saying all of them were great, it's just that I wish i could post most of them for you uys to see, but I really don't have the time.

But anyways, here are some shots you never saw. It's amazing looking back over photos to a place where you wish you could be. I really am inspired by some of the engineering and technicalities of rollercoasters, just looking over them is a cool experience for me. I really had a great trip, surprisingly I remember every detail of it from 3 over months ago.

Probably the best atmosphere of any ride I've ridden. I have no idea why it works so well. The breeze, Wicked Twister, the sandy beach, waves calmly crashing ashore, it's incredible. Especially at sunset.

A highly under-rated ride, Cedar Creek Mine Ride. Sure you can actually touch the head choppers, but it's still grreat ;)

Nice Mean Streak shot, it look great. I hated Mean Streak this year for some reason? I mean, in '06 loved it. I thought it was an amazing ride in '06 but in '07 when I rode it the ride seemed to be rougher than ever. Then again, I was spoiled with The Beast so I walked into that station wanting to ride another Beast lol. The best part was the comment the operator said.
Operator-"Welcome back Mean Streak riders how was your ride?! *No one talks* Let me guess, it was so good your speechless?"

I felt the exact same way about Mean Streak. Its really kind of odd how strikingly pleasant the ride can be, but at the same time it can really beat you up. Its definately a "moody" roller coaster thats for sure...
