I have never posted a complete list of my RCT3 recreations.

It was here that i got encouragement to make the videos (as most do not even play it here).

Before list them, i want to make an important note. At one point in time i was using the name "Warguardian19" - I NO LONGER use that username, however at the moment most of my videos are under that username. So long as the videos are up under the Warguardian name i'll keep the videos there.

From here on out i used the more mature and logical name of NeoGuardian21.

So forward all PM's (on Youtube) to NeoGuardian21 - i check it daily.

So without further a do.

I'll start with newest than go down the list:

Mantis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luXElg-WtWw) - Cedar Point

X2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIhARlXvm9c) - Six Flags Magic Mountain

Corkscrew (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utSfC_r-DZg) - Valleyfair

Excalibur (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bc0TQp7j9o8) - Valleyfair

Mad Mouse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ur-7kbEmuVg) - Valleyfair

Dark Knight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roFuGxU9o5A) - Six Flags Great America (I know i put a thread up but why the hell not add it to the complete list)

Wild Thing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgPkiJ0PnQM) - Valleyfair

Steel Venom (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4-LgCR7uRg) - Valleyfair

Top Thrill Dragster (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyQPLZS2V_I) - Cedar Point

Serial Thriller (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHnv8pdiSUY) - Six Flags Astroworld

Superman Ultimate Flight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LzpGD74HOA) - Six Flags Great America

Superman Krypton Coaster (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbrZL8Vla00) - Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Renegade (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuHedeqfydw) - Valleyfair

Batwing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOWMrRV_gfk) - Six Flags America

Batman The Escape (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNTyjAt4jqE) - Six Flags Astroworld

Batman The Ride (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEpE8kK1XmQ) - Six Flags Great America/Six Flags Over Texas

Mr. Freeze: Coolest Coaster on the Planet (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Pd0xDtsfo4) - Six Flags Over Texas

-----------------------------------------------

The only rule i really follow is the coaster HAS to be one that i've ridden. (i've tried doing one i haven't ridden, and it never feels quite right).

Here is my ride list

Here (http://www.coasterfanatics.com/sec_members/member_ridelist.asp?id=104684)

Wow! Well my favorite was the Mr. Freeze by far the support-work and track work was amazing, My least favorite was Superman Krypton Coaster, I thought it was ok, but the rest were awesome as well, good job.

Great job! You made my day with the Mantis video.

Mantis was pretty good, but you missed alot of things. The initial drop is much tighter, there isn't a zig zag turn at the bottom of the dive loop, and the inclined loop should exit below the entry- not above it :wink2:

They where alright Recreations. There could of been a lot more detail into each coaster and a lot more work time into them. The over all ride feel and look of each coaster was way off in my own opinion very jerky and I know Rct3 coasters are hard to make smooth, I also no it's very possible. I also know a lot of the layouts could of been a lot more real looking with more time and patients. Great effort but to really try and recreate a ride takes a lot of work and dedication. I do like the videos though, how its not just the ride it's a little intro and all!! Keep working hard!!

with the exception of the Top Thrill Dragster i have yet to see - in my opinion - anyone really school me in a ride of the same time.

On th majority of these i put a lot of effort into, and i guess it shows because i get a handful of PM's telling me i should go into No Limits. I've tried but i find it more frustrating than anything else.

if you can do a better Wild Thing, Batman the Ride, X2 or a few of the others, please have at it. I did it in how i thought it was the closest to the real thing - while working in RCT3.

To get a coaster to be super smooth in RCT3 is near impossible if you want the dimensions of the ride realistic. Example:

Batman the Ride

i know that the first corkscrew is turning in the wrong direction. however to it to the right way i have to elongate the turn into it to the point where it nearly matches the LENGTH of the area of the ride (like the lift hill side length).

--------------

the reason i zigzagged after the immelman on Mantis was i couldn't get the ride to do the turn over the station without ending up over the lift. Now i could of elongated the lift or something but in the end that was the easiest.
With no limits all i have to just manipulate the angle of direction.

in RCT3 it is Left, Right, Up, Down and than the corresponding diagonals. For anyone who'se going to attempt their own recreation in RCT3. you'll find out very quickly that most good coasters use full range of spectrum. That included with the angle of turns.

---------------------------------------------------------

to Cedar Fair life Guy, how are these rides not at all like you remember? or are you just critiquing them too harshly.

Just look up Six Flags on the Atari forums or Theme Park Review and look for some of my old projects you will see what I mean. I was once very well known for Rct3 till I stopped playing and know trying to learn No Limits. The stations and que are not spot on. Also a lot of the tracks have very unnecessary straight pieces and curves that are not on the rides. The main one X2 and the support work isn't spot on. I would do some Rct3 work but no longer have the program on my computer since I started No Limits. I am just saying that I know it is possible to make the rides more real and way smoother. It wasn't easy for me to learn so I don't expect every one to do it, practice, practice, practice. Keep working hard man!! It will come to ya!!

Here is my park I worked on a long time ago, this is time and dedication on a 4th dimension roller coaster. Check that out.

^ I agree the supports need alot of work. I love the realistic looking themeing on TTD but like I said the supports are a 6/10. Nice work though.

ok on the 4D coaster off that link. its lift supports look superb. but CS pack is it? idk, so i work with what i got.

Also in my opinion there are way way too many supports (from drop and on out), its like the supports overcome the ride track itself.

Sure the REAL X2 might have supports like crazy, but you can still see the trains. Its not a forest of supports like in the custom 4D.

So if i wanted it realistic i'd have a lot of straight track - which a lot of people don't like because that's not how people remember their experience on the ride. Even though image wise it would look right.

Also on the X2 run into the G-roll (right before the flame effect) on almost every other recreation of it, people insist on using steep drops- even though from my experience and from the photos, i do not see it being it steep drops but rather graceful drop.

I don't necessarily think my support work is that bad, my opinion of my TTD is that its not that great - not my best work. It was the best i could figure out - on my own - how to do the support work on Top Thrill Dragster. Its just i use the 'magical' Steelworx/Mouseworx/ATH Catwalk.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Tell you what.... I just got done uploading my newest video

High Roller (Valleyfair) recreation video.

my next three projects are Raptor (CP), Scream (SFMM), and Superman Ride of Steel (SFA)

I'll post pics here (and ONLY here) to get your opinion on the support work - before i put together the video.

-----------------------------------------------------------

One last add before i head to sleep.

Like what rides do you (specifically Cedar Fair Guy and Miller Lite) are really good?

I'm sorry, but your X2 is just way off. You stretched the ride proportions laterally, the ride is much more compact and tangled.

Some of the supports were funky, try tweaking them. Also, this thing was way faster than the actual ride, try increasing the size of some of the elements.

I've dona a couple RCT3 recreations, though of none of the coasters you've posted.

You've done a very good job. As you said, and I know very well, recreations are very challenging

He already gave the reason why he "stretched" the ride out.

^ Uhm.. he explained why he made the supports less dense, and why he had straight sections of track. He had no explanation for why it was so spread out.

Honestly, the best X or X2 recreation out there is Cody's. :cool1: His is nearly spot on.

I thought that they all looked really good!
