View Full Version : RCT3 building limit?
I have been working on the SFMM recreation and I have had trouble making the front of the park more than anything else. Every time I build to a point where the park file corrupts and my computer crashes. Is it possible to build so much in one park to cause the file to corrupt like this?
Has anyone ever had something like this happen before?
No it can't be a limit. It's possible your using corrupt custom scenery or something.. Custom scenery can be very sensitive at times and make your game lag or crash. I would suggest to re-check on your custom scenery to see if one of them could be causing the problem.. If not then that's very strange, I would suggest checking the Atari forums for something..

What CS are you using to make the front?
^The same I used with the back.

hum.....
I will ask a friend who is good at stuff like this.
EDIT: He said that it might a be a problem with CS. Then he asked if you are getting any errors.
This is all it does:

Alright this is what he told me.
If you can, can you please obtain his DXDiag? The tutorial for getting it is here:

Umm.. just to let you know DXDiag comes with Windows. And also that would'nt solve the problem. All DXDiag does is show all the system specs in detail.
This could be just a bug within RCT 3 or something. Like I said the first time it's probably some custom scenery item bugging it up, but than again you said you're using the same exact stuff as in the back.. What I would do is roll back to where the game did save/run fine, then restart your construction, but keep a close eye on everything. Would be a good idea to save every 10-20 items you place, may get annoying but it's the only way to find out if it's custom scenery.
