Here is a park that I started a couple weeks ago. I haven't really worked on it much now, found out I was moving. :(. I will try to work on it some more in the next couple of weeks.

Here is the entrance to the park. I might plan on putting new bathroom, and season pass roofs.

Here is the Double-Decker Merry-Go Round. I was wondering if there is a way to put so the fences goes up the path also.

Go down the page a little bit and look for wall slanting.
Anyways your buildings are a bit blocky and the carousel kind looks funny maybe don't make it so high and add a cover. Also try and cover the grass areas that you can see inside the building. Otherwise I guess its ok for a start.

Are you saying between the stations on the Merry-Go-Round?

First Screen: Only thing I can really suggest is a putting about 5-10 more minutes each on all four of those structures making them more detailed and unique.
Second Screen: It's a good idea, just lower the upper carousel a bit.
Can't wait to see future updates, and sucks that your moving, hopefully that works out OK for you.

Here is a quick update before I un-plug the computer for about a week.
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/7695/swingingshipzy8.th.png (http://img143.imageshack.us/my.php?image=swingingshipzy8.png)
A new ride that was built (little hard to see in there) called "SwingingInvader".
http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/7137/newridecominghu3.th.png (http://img171.imageshack.us/my.php?image=newridecominghu3.png)
It looks like were starting to build a Monorail here. Also, I re-did the roofs on the buildings. Still thinking of maybe changing the roofs on the Season Pass. Which is farthest left.

Then just a overview of the park on 10-17-2007.

I think the trees are a little over-done, but it looks pretty good. We need more content though!

I believe he means along the paths up to the top merry-go-round.

Well the park is called Wild Wood Amusement Park. It suppose to have a lot of trees.

The name of its park doesn't make sense if they don't have lots of trees, if not what should we do for it? It would be just kind of 'Wild Amusement Park'. It's always pretty good to have lots of trees to win 'the most beautiful park' award. :)

That is one huge burger stall. For a name of the coaster, how about Jungle Run?
That Merry-Go-Round is different, but it looks really kool.
Good start so far, and good luck.
Cheers!

Its been awhile since I worked on this because of school and high school hockey has started. Not a good season so far but won't get into details on that, but we sure will get into details on this small update you could say.
http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/2433/scr1xm2.png (http://imageshack.us)
Here is the photo of the station to Safari Racer with now trees and flowers. I am wondering and this is where I need your help. I am wondering if there is a way to put the fence to follow the path down to ground. We wouldn't want the riders to fall off the line would we.;)
http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/6254/scr2js3.png (http://imageshack.us)
Just another picture of the roller coaster with the trees.
http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/3407/scr3kv6.png (http://imageshack.us)
Another picture with the trees and with the water. As you can see the left side has water in it. You see a little part where it's not dig up because on the right side were working on digging up the rest of the ground right of the picture. We don't want to have the water to be a hassle, so we decided to not dig that part up yet.

Perhaps you could consider a name revision for your Huge "Burger Stall"
thatdancingbear
12-11-2008, 11:36 PM
To add handrails you can either change the path type to one that has handrails by default, or you could raise the land under the path and use a scenery item on the slope.
Whisper

Raise the land under each path
Add a fence line
Go to 8cars
Zero Clearance
Lower back the land
Go to 8cars
Restore Clearances
Go back and see what you've done!

Here is a part that I started to work on is the Trams. Even thought this ride will take the whole time I work on the park because I am having it go everywhere. I have a question on it. Here it is...

http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/7176/scr6ao2.png (http://imageshack.us)
So this is my question, does it look alright to have trees then flowers right next to each other by the station? I wanted to bring this up now before I get to far into this part and have to change it. Thanks.

On Safari Racer, is it possible if you can make the queue line, you know, larger and covered. That whole back area of path can be a queue line covered with jungle theme.
The last update on this thread back back in January, please don't bring back dead topics.

Yeah, I could do that. So you want me to have the path bigger where in the middle where the roller coaster is at?
The last update on this thread back back in January, please don't bring back dead topics.
It's fine, unless if it one of you rules. I am going to get this dust off and back going since school is coming to a close.
I have no problem with the author of the post bring some new updates, but it is silly to post in a thread that hasn't seen another post in a few months (again unless you made the thread). It is not a rule, but it is generally accepted not to bring back old topics. Good luck with finishing your project.

Yeah, It's going to be bigger. Cover half of it with the game's jungle wall and roof. I think you can also add some trees around the queue line to keep the jungle theme up. Thanks for understanding!

Alright, it's been months since I have worked on this but I am starting to get back into it. I haven't done much, besides delete The Wave and is going to be moved to the water park.
Reason for it is my 8cars seem to not be working and that I am missing a file called 8carsfunc.dll? Anyone can help me with that?
Also another thing is I am very bad at figuring out what colors work with what on roller coasters. So I was hoping you guys can help me out with that, here is something I need your help with. What color should the station be on the roller coaster?

I don't think red would look that bad. Then again, look at all my color choies...haha
Just a suggestion, I think the first path out of the exit should be flat. It'll make it all-together more cohesive as a station. It wouldn't make sense for the platform to just drop off like that in my opinion. Then you can have stairs going alongside the station in the same direction as the coaster trains.
Oh, and I personally think it would look better for both sets of stairs to use walls the same as the rest of the station: the black mine land terrain looks awkward IMO.
Otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this coaster!

Haven't seen this in a while. AMAZING!
looks like your progressing nicely. My only crit is your station has two different roof textures that clash make the middle roof black and it could fit in more. Also with your foliage it seems random at the moment so perhaps create some shapes built up of trees and surrounded in different bushes that compliment the shape of your coaster.
