This here is just a little Project of mine, on which I am working since over 3 years.
Just some teasers from the Editor, and after the weekend more pictures will follow.

^ up and *woosh* down
why is this called "Project Infinity"? you may ask,
the answer is simple, because i have been working on it forever and I do not know when it will (ever) be finished.
Well, I have to say, my expectations are high. Can't wait to see s'more!

Very Stormrunner-ish. I like what I see so far, heartlining is very good. Can't wait to see renders :)

Don't expect too much, i have been working over 3 years on this coaster and it is still far far away from being completed.
and now, for the renders:

^ as i said, little to no G's in the strange-looking-heartline-to-corkscrew-roll

^ some more Corkscrews for you

Wow! That looks spectacular with the terrain and everything. If that was a real coaster...wow... It looks like a great layout and all that too. An't wait for a POV, if you're at that stage yet. Great job.

3 years, I could build that in 3 hours! This looks like crap!!
KIDDING!
To be honest, this looks remarkable so far. My heart rate increased dramatically when I saw the first picture (2nd update).
I cannot wait for more pictures!!

^wheeeeeee :D:D:D:D
Thats all you will get until next monday.
But for all those who really want to see how unfinished this Project is, you can win a Test ride on the most recent version of the ride if you could guess the Lenght (in ft.) of the coaster. (Post your guess until monday 12:00 GMT, only one Guess per Forum user)
the one who is closest will get the file sent via MSN or ICQ / email sometime on monday, when i wake up from alcohol induced coma :D

There's a couple supports that are all jankified. Use custom supports to fix them, it'll look better.
Guess: 6,485'

I generally try not to use pre fab supports on intamin's cause they don't look right sometimes, and a lot of the time they don't even touch the track.
EDIT: Love the color scheme on the trains BTW.
My guess is 7,083 feet. It looks incredible so far.

Looking good, but I noticed the banking coming out of the helix was odd. Make sure you bank and heartline that more, it looks like the lats will spike there.
Guess: 5,500 ft

This looks truly amazing ^_^.

The problem here is that it doesn't matter if you go over.

Allright, the contest is off, for now...
I declare thedeadfrog the winner, because his guess of 8.001 ft. came closest to the track Length.
Track length on Sept. 16.th was: 7.963,11 ft.
Track length on Sept. 19.th was: 8.401,18 ft.
Track length on Sept. 22.nd was: 8.039,01 ft.
Changes on Sept 19.th:
- relocated the last Corkscrew and added a Overbank before the final brake run
- created some custom supports on the last helix
------------------------------------
Changes on Sept 22.nd:
- changed the turn to the 2nd MCBR to improve pacing and optimize E-stop train stacking
- changed banking on the lead-in of the last helix to improve lateral-G-spikes
- optimized the pull up to the new airtime hills before the brake run
-------------------------------------
thedeadfrog please send me a pm or contact me via MSN/ICQ so that i can send you the track file (you won't get the track within the next 8-10 hours, because right now I'm heading off to the Oktoberfest)
--------------------------------------
pictures of the changes will hopefully be taken and posted here after my return from the Oktoberfest or sometime tomorrow

I hope you mean that as in decrease the lateral g's :p

@Michael: yes, that was what i meant.. but the helix needs more work anyway..
and now.. i added another inversion!
(i created this somehow last night while i was drunk)

3 trains on the track :D
and the track gets longer and longer :/
The track near the bottom of the screen looks like it should bank earlier. Other than that, it looks spectacular.

^Yea, it looks like you're going to pull some not so fun laterals.

Everything is perfect except the colors. Blue and purple are fine, just not in the pastel-colors range. Also- lateral Gs are really good, so don't fix that curve unless there are red spikes. Rides where the lateral Gs are totally smoothed out are boring, in my opinion.

This style of ride generally does not usually incorporate lateral g's into it's elements. So of course he should heartline this. It's not a wooden coaster :p

It's not a B&M either, all the Intamin's i have been on had laterals :D
And i have to say, I like the awesome smoothness of B&M Coasters, but a little bit of lateral g's never hurt anyone...
(it pulls up to -0.5 lateral g's there, depending on your seat)
