Wentworth Ridge - an undecided temporary name - begins with a colorful, quite unique plaza filled with shops and such. A few restaraunts provide food and two IMAX theatures show different movies every couple of hours.

The entrance gates await the guests as they make their way to the park. Here you can purchase tickets, find group sales, and buy season tickets. For those guests who have purchased tickets online, you can scan it through the gates and begin your adventure.

Beutiful gazeebos, flowers, fountains, and trees line the midway, proving for an excellent atmosphere to spend some time. Some guests take advantage of the gazeebos, and spend vasts amounts of time here.

The midway buildings line the diagnol walkway towards the hub of the park, where you can take two trams (Red, Blue) to anywhere in the park. (Color shows which direction they travel) Numerous dining establishments give the guests tablespace to enjoy a meal. ATM's sit inside the bank where guests can, obviously, withdraw more money.

As we move past the entrance, the guests can travel to the IRISH VILLAGE. This land is the place to go for the lepercons and gold-seekers. Several attractions line the list for their enjoyment such as the Garden Swings, Search for the Pot of Gold, Frying Pan, and of course, the Leprechaun.
The park will be releasing better images as soon as they can get them out. Rumors heard of a better view of things. The people at Wentworth Ridge wish you a fun parkgoing!

This project looks very promising and I can't wait to see more from you on this park! :)
This makes me want to start back up on RCT2 again.
I can't wait to see more! :)

In the first screen it looked like pathways could have been done different colors. But I like it none the less!
Thanks all, will get you an update from the park's main office as soon as I can. ;)

Just a suggestion, Lepercon sounds like a leprosy convention, I'd suggest changing it to it's proper spelling, leprechaun
Oh, thanks, I knew that wasn't spelt right. :p
. . . It's coming soon . . .
Sorry for the double post, but the park has released another teaser.
(Colors were said to be temporary on the woodie)

Can't say I like the shots in the first post, but these are just awesome. It could use a little more detail, but this is all looking really nice together.

A dark brown for the woodie I think would look better as the white clashes too much with the buildings surrounding it. Everything looks good but in the first set of screens there seems to be a lot of path but that might be because the screens are too small and don't show off the surrounds to suggest that it actually is smaller. But overall I like this project as everything seems to be simpler and not over detailed which is very effective in my opinion.
The park has blown holes through some ideas, but kept parts of some, and added their own flare. The park has decided to go with a GG woodie for the Irish Village. The coaster screams exciting and intense at the same time.
You may also see Search for the Pot of Gold, (car ride), and Dancing Ring (Tilt-a-Whirl)

Not a fan of the woodie diving into the building, but other than that, it's pleasant.
Nin-what would you suggest as a change? Dive underground BEFORE the building? It was really just my style for the drop to go INTO the building, but I understand how it looks odd.
Update coming this weekend.
You don't have to take every suggestion and apply it - if it's your style for the drop to go into the building, keep it that way.
I personally don't have a problem with it. As long as nobody has to work in the building and hear a train roar by every few minutes...
Oh, no worries, just a building . . . :p
Sorry for the double post, again, but the UPDATE is here.
http://inlinethumb04.webshots.com/38211/2368394410104135555S600x600Q85.jpg
Once guests make their way over a bridge (incomplete) and towards the Irish Village, they will walk through the large entrance arch. (incomplete) Many shops and attractions sit in the small plaza-like area in which they can enjoy themselves.
http://inlinethumb09.webshots.com/40584/2436722410104135555S600x600Q85.jpg
The subway takes a stop in the Irish Village, and takes stops alternating at every other section of the park. Lots of Irish culture and colors inspired this area. (gardens in Irish Flag, ride names, scenery, etc.) Guests will find their first coaster of the park making their way to the Irish Village: Leprechaun.
http://inlinethumb62.webshots.com/40253/2720753800104135555S600x600Q85.jpg
Finally, the park name begins to take its place, when the guests arrive upon this hilltop. After the first drop, the coaster dives underneath a walkway, up around a hill, turns left, and dives into a roof. These hillsides will be common throughout the park.

That looks really good. The only things I wasn't huge on were the roofs of the four square buildings (they all looked exactly the same, and there's not too many buildings like that in real life) and the cobblestone path surrounding the regular path. Using two path types like that accentuates the fact that RCT2 has to have everything at right angles. If you have the diagonal path, I'd suggest using that. I'm really liking that roller coaster, and I think the subway is a fresh idea...I don't think I've ever seen that before. Do any real parks have underground subway systems>
Update: 10/14/08
. . . Beyond, the Irish Village, the Gonvatto Gorge awaits . . .
http://inlinethumb03.webshots.com/17794/2200820430104135555S600x600Q85.jpg
Once the guests enter Gonvatto Gorge, the path forks. On the right hand side are the classic Wentworth Ridge hillsides, where the Gonvatto Mines awaits you. The guests will endure on a journey for gold through caves and villages. A very high excitement level is sure to attract a packed line, so the que winds up, down, in, out, and around the hillside and other buildings.

With the world's high demand for going green and finding a clean source of energy, Wentworth Ridge has decided to help. The park installed a supply of solar pannels utop the hillside. About 95% of the park runs on this powerful source. (counting out the oil and greese used for the chains for the lift hills and the subway, burning the gasoline)

The gonvatto gorge is handicapped-friendly as well with the wheelchair ramps accessible to get to some of the other attractions. One of the popular attractions up the stairs is the Shaken Up simulator inside a cave. The ride simulates being inside a mining cave during an earthquake, and you must find a way to escape fast to save your life.

After a bit of discussion, the park has decided to reveal an overview of the Irish Village. You can see the Leprechaun's out-and-back layout and how it interacts with the town. The village is another popular area to visit during the guest's stay at Wentworth Ridge.

Wow, this looks really impressive! I love the Lephrecauns uber-long layout, and the mine train coaster is pretty cool. Your idea for the simulator is very cool too. This is really reminding me of BGE. The only thing I don't like is the two different land types on the sides of the land surfaces. I agree that it would look bland with only one type, but the two don't seem to make sense together. Maybe stack scenery fences up against the cliff? Looks great though, I'm looking forward to a download, even if it isn't that close.

Looks good so far! You did a very good job on the Mine ride. That is a really neat idea with the solar power, though I think it would look better if maybe the colors were darker. Since the sun attracts darker colors, the sun will attract the solar panels easier. Most of the solar panels I have seen there black, but just my thought.

Thanks for the comment. The wooden walls are just clever way of detail, really.

The solar panals have been changed. Thanks.

Today was opening of season one. The guests poored into the gates early, reaching over 2,000 guests very quickly. The park filled with guests within a couple of hours, (Takes a while for the guests to get to the back of the park) and the lines continued to grow.
http://inlinethumb40.webshots.com/11879/2622776850104135555S600x600Q85.jpg
Leprechaun wasn't really as popular as planned. Park management had to chain off most of the line, so it went strait into the station. The peeps didn't seem to enjoy it that much.
http://inlinethumb42.webshots.com/41833/2495318610104135555S600x600Q85.jpg
Unlike Leprechaun, Aqueduct was a hit. The que winds inside the station building and under the cliffside, then out by the main pathways. The line was packed as the guests waited for their turn on one of the park's main attractions. The entire Gonvatto Gorge was packed with guests, including the Mines. (no pic) The line at the mines extended fairly long, as well.

This shot was taken before the opening of season 1, and it reveals the canal Aqueduct flows through at the beginning of the ride. On the opposite side, you may catch a sneak peek at the next section of the park: the Arabian Market. ;)

Another photo taken before the opening, showing Spindle, a very nauseating flat. Not much else to see here except what happens after the canal on the Aqueduct.

The park announced that this plot of land at the divider between the Gonvatto Gorge and the Irish Village will eventually become a stadium/showroom for the offseason between seasons 2 and 3. The land has been cleared to make room for the attraction. They said that the walls on the entrance to the Irish Village was not completed and the restroom facility was not put up. (Park seems to be very slow on some details. :p
Season one included the Arabian Market, but some areas were incomplete, so the park decided not to release photos of the area until more work is put in. A B&M invert is said to be in the section as well as more shops and attractions than anywhere else in the park.
Progress on the park is ahead of the updates being shown at the moment. If I can get in a few small details on the Arabian Market a massive update will be shown soon.

This is beyond sweet. I'm loving the atmosphere.
Help Needed!
Wentworth Ridge, which was at year 47 was corrupted today. I had a backup file but I hadn't saved it recently so it was at year 33. I had lost the entire progress on the Arabian Market which was going to be updated this weekend. Is there a way to un-corrupt a file and get it working again, or do I have to spend another 14 hours building it again. Please comment. Thank you in advance.
I'm sorry to tell you, but corrupted files are irreversible. I have lost countless hours, hell even an entire park to them. Lesson: Save often.
Even with the problem your work is very promising. I just find the architecture a tad repetitive, but nonetheless, wonderful.
Thanks for the input, Jman. Progress has now haulted on WWR. Mods, please close.
You can close the topic yourself, ya know. ;)
