Interesting, but the pic really shows no pic of the ride, but a real pic photo-edited. I beleive you should show us something for anyone else to comment.

comming

Coming.

Besides that, the ride looks awesome. And whatever editing you did makes it look like a real photo, which is pretty great as far as marketing a fake ride. If the quality of the ride matches the shot, this should be one heck of a coaster.

Coming.

Gahhh you always get me on that one :p

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll have a few screens within an hour or two.

The supporting is unrealistic... 90degs at any height need more supporting then auto supports give them.

Just beef the laterals up a bit, and it should be fine. Notice also how there are no handrails on the top of the bank because they aren't needed. Otherwise, you have a really gorgeous looking woodie that I cant wait to take a spin on.

You might want to wait untill I'm done with this before criticizing ;)

And by the way, those are auto supports... I'm touching up on No Limit's crappy support generator as I speak. It does need handrails because that portion of track is over 75 feet in the air, not a low turn as shown in your picture.

He was talking about just at the top. But it looks flawless none the less.

You're accepting complements, so I don't see what the problem is.

I think his point is that the upper handrail isn't going to do anything if it's 10 feet above the walking platform.

I'll try to do something about the handrails, I really hate the auto support generator.

Should have a teaser video on EDIT: Saturday (changed due to my schedule). Might have some snippits of POV, you never know... ;)

I've had the music video completed for a few days, just trying to work out some issues with Windows Movie Maker :p

If I figure all of it out I should have it up on youtube by tonight.

Ranger is a new approach to a style of wooden roller coasters that I love. I've noticed alot of new coasters like to hug the ground and use high speed maneuvers. The only problem is that you miss the spectacles of higher manevers and you can't get drops like you can on older styled rides. I sought out to combine the fast, heart-pounding styled coasters with a style that I miss: tall and tangled.

Ranger is certainly the most wild of my creations yet, the direction changes are all choreographed in ways many may never realize. :p This ride was heavily influenced by a few coasters, a few to mention are Thunderhead, Board Walk Bullet, and Ravine Flyer II. If you like family rides, then stay away. Ranger is ready to rock your world.

For POV footage, check out the Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXu_TO1S34Y

More screens and a download coming very soon!

I loved it! It felt like a park announcing a coaster, that's what I think of this ride. Truly beautiful.

Well let's just say Vista crashed my pc again, but this time I lost all of my files. Everything. :(

I've decided to keep building despite losing my life collection (five years) of NL work... it's actually pretty dis-heartening. Hopefully I'll have something up in a couple weeks. :)
