I've been working on this thing for about a week or so now. I have the layout done and I am VERY, VERY far from completion. I will hope to get 3D's into this one or else I will rework part of the layout. (dark ride section) I have no specific theme as of yet, so colors may be temporary. Do not expect 3D's, it's just a possibuility. Enough chatter, on to the photos.

The second inversion on the layout - a zero-g-roll. This element is taken very smoothly.

A look from the track coming out of the immelman to show the hard curves of the track.

View from zero-g-roll.

Sorry I didn't give too many good shots here, but I didn't want to give anything away yet. ;) Update will come later. Stay tuned.

^Wow fast response, lol.

As I said colors are not decided, but if I stay with that green, either a shade of blue or yellow. (probably yellow for the contrast)

It doesn't look heartlined. Is it?

Hey, when you edit your photos for size, save them in PNG format, if you save it in JPEG, it will make it all grainy.

This looks like a solid ride, but this needs tons more heartlining. Looking forward to more screens... and heartlining ;)

It is infact heartlined. It might just be an odd angle. If I showed the elemtent (such as the zero g roll) going up, it would look more heartlined. Most of the ride is heartlined, but a few tweaks need to be made.

EDIT: I've taken a picture out of the editor to prove that it is heartlined. :p

I've labled 1, 2, and 3 as examples.

Example from simulator. (Michael, this is the same element you were talking about)

I might in some more heartlining, but guys, don't expect it to be done anytime soon. ;)

Whoa, time out. Notice on the roll at the bottom of the picture how the yellow line bows and buckles... that is most certainly not heartlined :p.

It does looks like you tried to heartline it a little, just double or triple that amount.

Small update today, but I will get back soon.
Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, the good computer is down for me. Will use better pictures next update.

A small update to show you guys the progress thus far. Sorry for the double post, but I figured an update was important.:o

A look at how the supports will go with the ride. They are most definately incomplete, but they give you a breif idea of what they will look like. (middle support still missing the ties). Much work is still to be done on them.

Same turn but from a different angle. (I realize the support in the foreground is bent) As I said in the previous caption, much work is still to be done.

Looks good, but take the "caps" off the top of the supports. It looks a little odd. Also take out the I-beams, they aren't necessary.

Other than a few picky details, this is looking pretty darn good
