First things first, there will be some differences on how I will present this park compared to my previous one. The timeline will be different; instead on displaying the current year in the park, I would display only the current park season. This way I don’t have pressure to end the park by a certain year. Also without the “Six Flags” trademark attached to the name of the park, this park will be more themed to what I see fit rather then try to follow Six Flags traditions. However… Park Maps will be back, since they made a lasting impression on my previous park, but don’t expect to see on till on or after opening day.

Today the park begins its first season with 13 attractions (2 of them being roller coasters). San Pedro Island opened to mass crowds throughout the weekend. So its now been a month since the foundation was laid, and the Park Execs announced that the new ride will be a dark "haunted" ride called Phantom Manor. The dark ride is set to open at the beginning of Season 3.

It is now the month of All Hallows Eve and the last month of Season 2. This year has rushed by so fast. Phantom Manor is now complete and will open the second weekend of March next season. Also there is a rumor going around that a new coaster will be built during the 3rd season and it is expected to open at the beginning of Season 4. More on that news later. For now we have the final construction shots of Phantom Manor before opening day!

More foliage has been added around the exit of the ride to give the feel of seclusion. (Added in May)

In other park news, the rumors are true on a new coaster being built for Season 4. The coaster will be built by Arrow Dynamics and is said to be located on the hillside of the Forbidden Forest section on the park.

Timeline: September, Season 3

Hey everyone, it has been a long season with no news on the new coaster and finally this month a station was built. By the looks of things its going to be a suspended coaster that will built on the mountain side and it will utilize the terrain surrounding it. Still no word on the name or when exactly its going to open next season but I'll keep you posted. Here's the picture of the station.

Timeline: October, Season 3

Hey everyone, we are in the second to the last month and more construction on the coaster is moving a long quickly. Still no word on the name of the ride and when it will open its gates to the public. I did get a tip that construction should be completed in late February of next year, a month before the park opens so we may be looking at a March or April opening. As for right now, the lift of the ride has been complete. Below is another picture with just the station built in angle from Ghostrider, and the remaining pictures is of the lift. Based on the height on it, it going to be big coaster.

Timeline: May, Season 4

Track pieces have arrived for the new Arrow mega-looper set to open for next year. Here's some news on construction. The ride dubbed "Scream Machine", will be built this season with construction starting immediately, and it will feature 7 inversions with speeds close to 70mph. Scream Machine should be completed by September of this year. Once the ride is complete the rest of the new park section will be built around it. The new park section dubbed "The Plaza" will be the smallest section of the park and will feature a spanish influenced theme with loads of shopping stalls for the family to enjoy along with a new flat ride as well as the new coaster being the centerpiece attraction. Starting this week the Monorail will be closed during the construction of the new section of the park. It's track will be removed in the construction area, and re-routed to make way for Scream Machine and the The Plaza section of the park.

The new flat ride named "Black Beard" has opened while the awaited Scream Machine won't be open for another 2 weeks. Timeline: March, Season 5

Hey everyone! It's Media Day and Scream Machine is now open to the public. The coaster, built by Arrow Dynamics, flips riders head over heals a whopping 7 times!! Before the coaster opened, the only other attraction in the park to feature one single inversion was Ghostrider which opened during the parks first season. Scream Machine has been getting good reviews thus far, however it has been cursed with the "head banging" effect as most Arrow Mega-Loopers get, but for the most part park guests that have ridden the ride over the weekend were more than satisfied with the parks new addition to the coaster family. Scream Machine opens as the park's 4th coaster during it's 5th anniversary of operation. Guests that showed up in the wee hours for the Media Day opening announcement of Scream Machine by the Park Execs were shocked and excited that San Pedro Island would also be getting a new coaster for Season 7. However the announcement didn't take much away from the excitement on Scream Machine opening, also the Park Execs were tight lipped on what and where the roller coaster will be. ^ It's a good thing you've mentioned POVs. I was planning, after the release of the season 7 coaster, to release the POVs of the first batch of attractions which includes Go Gadget Coaster, Ghostrider, Phantom Manor, Night Owl, Scream Machine, and this latest one I'm working on right now.

Timeline: May, Season 6
Alright, so it's been a little over a year since the opening of Scream Machine, and we haven't gotten any new updates on the new coaster of season 7 until now. By the looks of this picture below, the coaster is going to be built in the front of the park adjacent to Phantom Manor and it's going to occupy the piece of land located south of the Hollywood Square section of the park. As of right now there has been land development blocking the Phantom Manor facade from view, so with that said, the coaster will be a part of the Hollywood Square section of the park which will make it the first coaster to be built for that section.

Timeline: May, Season 6

Its the last week of May and a rather large addition has been added to the construction area for the new coaster. The classic "Hollywood Sign" has made its way to San Pedro Island. As far as its meaning behind the coaster is unknown but this large sign is noticeable in different sections of the park. Much more noticeable in the Forbidden Forest section where the letters tower into the the skyline seen in 2 of the pictures below. The sign is kind of a distraction for the surrounding Forbidden Forest western theme especially by the Phantom Manor attraction. Lets hope that the new coaster is large enough to drown out the size of the sign.

Timeline: July, Season 6

Hey everyone! I've got some exciting news!! San Pedro Island announced the new coaster this morning named ACTION!! - Stunt Coaster. Builders Bolliger and Mabillard are bringing its innovative stand-up coaster to San Pedro Island for its 7th season. Park Execs stated that this new coaster will be very different from last season's coaster Scream Machine. ACTION!!, will be a tight and compacted coaster that will feature a drop of 80 ft, speeds up to 48 mph, with a vertical loop, and corkscrew while Scream Machine, the parks largest coaster that has a drop of 165 ft, and travels 68 mph through 7 inversions. October, Season 6

Hey everyone, It is the last month of season 6 and after a slow couple of months in the construction area, ACTION!! is now a complete circuit. The trains have also arrived and have been placed on the track. All that needs to be added are the catwalks on the chain lift and on the brakes, and probably some scenery. From what I hear, testing will start in December when the park is closed to the public and the coaster will open the first weekend of April. Below are the last construction pics of the season.

After a long wait, ACTION!! - Stunt Coaster opens to the public!! The coaster opened up to the largest crowds the park has ever seen with wait times nearing 2 1/2 to 3 hours throughout the day. The park opened an hour early and stayed open an extra 2 hours over the weekend to ensure everyone that was in the park over the weekend had gotten a chance to ride it. Timeline: October, Season 7

Hey everyone, so I got some major updates for you that I would like to announce!! So season 7 is officially coming to a close and the park is gearing for major changes for Season 10!!! Although it seems like a little ways away, it will be here before you know it.

Current Change...

When you go to Disneyland, the first iconic building you see once you enter the gates is the train station. When you visit Great America, the first iconic attraction you will see is the double decker carousal. When headed towards Magic Mountain, you notice the towering red tower knowing that your close by. And when you come to San Pedro Island, the first thing you see once you pass through those gates is the iconic San Pedro Island Monorail Station.

Starting at the beginning of season 8, the monorail station will receive the "Hollywood" treatment and receive an Art-Deco remodel. The monorail will still be in operation during most of the construction phases of the project. The new San Pedro Island Monorail Station will be completed by the end of the 8th season.

Future Projects...
It has also been announced that for the parks 10th season, there will be a new beach themed area that will be located south of the Delfino Square section of the park. This yet to be titled new land will feature multiple "boardwalk" style flat-ride attractions a long with the parks first water attraction and a brand new roller coaster! This will be the most expensive expansion up to date and the new section of the park will be the largest as well. The construction for this project will began in the beginning of Season 9 with the roller coaster being built first followed by the other rides and attractions. Also during this construction, the monorail will be closed down and retrofitted for a second loading station in the new section of the park as well.

So although, the park guests won't have anything new to ride for a couple of years, the construction will build up enough anticipation for probably one of the parks greatest seasons!

Upcoming POVs

A couple of you have been requesting POVs for a while now, and I am happy to announce that you won't have to wait much longer! I am currently filming videos for GoGadget Coaster, Ghostrider, Phantom Manor, Night Owl, Scream Machine, and ACTION!! - Stunt coaster. During the Season 8 construction I will post a new POV each update. Following that, from now on, each major attraction that opens to forum will get a POV the very same day!!

Now for the awaited Phantom Manor POV. So far this has been the most difficult ride to film. The ride time itself is about over 5 minutes long and since my park is on a day and night setting, the finished product to 3 videos combined into one! Which took numerous of reshoots and hours to film to get it just right. Because we all know in "RCT3 World" dark rides only has a purpose during night settings. This ride was very inspired by Disney, from the soundtrack to the layout of the ride itself. So this ride is more of a tribute than my own creation I guess. Hope you all enjoy it.

Alright so today's POV is for Night Owl. This ride opened during the park's 4th season as the park's 3rd coaster. What I love about this ride is that it starts off slow so anyone would think this would be a small boring easy ride, but all of the sudden it kicks into high gear and gives you a great thrill. Just as a heads up, there was some tall dude sitting in the front seat and his head gets in the way of the camera during parts of the ride. I would have re-filmed the video if it doesn't take soooo long just to film it. Oh well, hope ya'll still enjoy it!

Timeline: March, Season 9

Those of you who thought Crystal Beach Cyclone would be the next addition to San Pedro Island are 100% CORRECT!! The most infamous coaster on the planet will be debuting in the summer of the 10th season along with the rest of the new attractions that would be added to the new themed land called "Crystal Beach Bay"! Of course the coaster won't be an exact replica of the original because of the harsh g-forces but the layout will remain the same but now with better technology, we can modify the g-forces so it will be safe an comfortable but with the out of control feeling. Also the ride will be nearly double in size of scale compared to the original as well. Park Execs stated that this coaster will be listed under the "High Thrill" attraction status; which will be the second coaster in the park to have that rating behind Scream Machine. Timeline: September, Season 9

Hey everyone, so now that coaster is complete the construction has shifted to the new water attraction being built. The working title so far is Tidal Wave and it will be a giant boat flume and will be built over the water. Strategically placed invisible "glass" walls will be placed by the surrounding drop area to separate the salt water from the filtered water that will located around the drop and submerged tracks. Speaking of the drop, once the riders plunge into the water it will be immediately followed by an S shaped curve. This unique track design will be built for 2 reasons; thrill and technical. The thrill reason is that once riders hit the S curve they will be hit by all sides of splashing water insuring that everyone on the ride will be soaked! The technical reason is because the boat will have so much momentum, the S curve design will be used as a way to slow the boat down before it makes its way back to the station. Within the first 2 weeks of the new season the second station has been constructed along with other scenery items to enhance the entrance into the new area. However more is to be added in the next coming weeks, and the monorail will remain closed until the new section of the park opens to the public.

Timeline: June, Season 10

The wait is over!!! Crystal Beach Bay is now open to the public. The park opened bright and early and guests took advantaged of that. While some guest decided to walk to the new section to get the grand entrance, the majority of others decided to take the monorail to get the the rides much quicker. The most buzzed about attraction is of course the Crystal Beach Cyclone at 145 foot tall climb with a 125 ft drop and speeds up to 60 mph. Other rides that opened were Tidal Wave the parks first water attraction, Lighthouse Slide, Typhoon, Zipper, and Kaos. It usually depends on the park I want to create. However most of the time, I imagine the park months before I actually start to build it, which in that case I build the landscape and terrain well before I start adding rides and themed sceneries. This park is a good example of that from the earlier pics I've posted. I did the same thing with my Mushroom Kingdom park (which I think I should totally revamp in the future), I built the terrain first. My Six Flags park was one of the only times I've just decided to go with a flat terrain which ironically Castroville, CA, (the setting of SFMB) has a flat terrain with nothing but farm land in real life.

Timeline: April, Season 11

Hey everyone, I've got some exciting news for you!! A new themed space land dubbed "The World of Tomorrow" is coming to San Pedro Island next season. The new park section will be built on the top of the hillside which is located in the center of the park. The World of Tomorrow will feature world class space themed attractions such as a Planetarium, Laser Tag, Flying Saucer themed Bumper Cars, a long with other attractions including a Sling Shot attraction that will be the tallest structure in the park. A new coaster will also be opening next season and it will be for all ages. The new coaster, Rocket Racers will be a fast pace, in the dark attraction with an on-board sound system with state of the art special effects. All attractions are scheduled to be open next April, and construction has already started to began on Rocket Racers. The tracks pieces have arrived earlier this week and will start to be assembled as early as next week.

Hey everyone, here's the latest construction news on Rocket Racers. The track work is about 3/4 complete! Unfortunately, these 2 pics below are the last construction shots you will see of Rocket Racers. A huge green showroom building (similar to the one of Phantom Manor seen at the parking garage) will incase the entire attraction. So we won't see the finished ride until the video comes out next season.

In other World of Tomorrow news, there will be two access points to the new themed land; meaning that next season the park will complete its first revolution and guest will no longer have to travel from one end of the park to another. The reason why I say "first" is because the island still has 50% of land that has not yet been developed so there is bound to be another park revolution in the future. The first access point into the World of Tomorrow will be from The Forbidden Forest section of the park. Pathway will be built under the lift of Ghostrider and stairs will be built to the top of the hill. However, this access point will not be wheelchair accessible. If you or any member in your party are handicapped, the second access point, which will be located in the Crystal Beach Bay, will have a gradual sloped pathway to the World of Tomorrow section. Guest that are handicapped will be advised to take the monorail from the Hollywood Square station to the Crystal Beach Bay station. The wheelchair accessible pathway to the new park section is located right below the Crystal Beach Bay station.

So the coaster trains that are going to be used are similar to those found at the Disneyland version of Space Mountain. The train will have 2 cars each with 6 seats each car, 2 abreast. Originally I was going to have drift trains on the ride but I didn't like the end result during the test runs, so I switched to the standard coaster car.

Timeline: June, Season 12

San Pedro Island has seen many years of success. The park opened with 3 themed lands and now today the it has expanded into 6! While Delfino Square, Crystal Beach Bay, and World of Tomorrow were added to the park in recent years, The Forbidden Forest and Hollywood Square also got some updating and new attractions through the years (Phantom Manor, Night Owl, ACTION!, and the new monorail station). Did I mention there are 6 themed lands..... Hollywood Square, The Forbidden Forest, Delfino Square, Crystal Beach Bay, World of Tomorrow..... thats only 5.... There has been one themed land that has not changed since the park opened its gates 12 years ago: the County Fair section. Through 12 seasons of new attractions, County Fair has been neglected since season 1! Finally after 12 seasons of neglect, County Fair will be invaded by a storm!!! A "Hurricane" will impact the County Fair section of the park next season! The coaster will be built by B&M and it will be inverted. This new attraction has been a long time coming for County Fair, but worth the wait. Hurricane will open next April and track pieces have already arrived!!!

So here's some news for Hurricane. As you know San Pedro Island is lacking in the "inversion" department. Only Ghostrider (1 inversion), Scream Machine (7 inversions), and ACTION!! (2 inversions) flip riders head over hills. So I got the scoop on how many inversions Hurricane would have since its and invert, it will obviously have inversions. There will be 6 inversions on the new coaster. It will feature your standard vertical loop, then dive loop, inline twist, cobra roll, and corkscrew. As of right now the station has been built.

Timeline: July Season 12

Hey everyone, the lift supports have been built and just by looking at them this is going to be one tall coaster!! In fact the second tallest in the park behind Scream Machine. I would like to make a correction on the inversion break down that I gave earlier. The second inversion is not going to be a dive loop; it will be its cousin the immelmann loop, however it will be slightly modified. And what I mean by slightly modified is that the half twist element after the half loop will be shortened the make room for an immediate helix element. So in actuality, the immelmann loop would look more like a deflated cobra roll. In related news, Go Gadget Coaster will be shut down through most of Hurricane's construction. The first drop has been installed!!! Here's some stats on Hurricane. It stands 145 ft tall, and it will have 130 ft drop. The top speed of the ride is 65 mph which will make it the second fastest coaster in the park. The track length will be 3835 ft.

The immelmann loop has been constructed. Go Gadget Coaster was shut down during the last week for the new Hurricane track to be built around it. Once the track pieces were installed, Go Gadget Coaster reopened with the left side of the catwalk on the lift permanently removed.

Here's some great news about Hurricane! Construction on the coaster should rap up in 3 weeks! Construction was originally expected to last through late November; so with that said, Park Execs decided that the new coaster will open along with the rest of the park on opening day next season! So unfortunately this season will see no new attractions however there were some small updates to all attractions. All electronic marquees bearing the rides name were all removed. New marquees were set in place to all major attractions similar to the marquees found at Rocket Racers and Hurricane.

Now about the new expansion for season 15. This fence seen below is located right below the monorail station in the Crystal Beach Bay section of the park as you walk towards the World of Tomorrow section.

This new yet unknown land is suppose to serve as the "counterpart" to the "World of Tomorrow" park section; sort of like a "World of Yesteryear", however it has been confirmed that the new park section will not bear the name "World of Yesteryear".

Park Execs gave us a clue in their statement of the new park section:
"The World of Tomorrow is set at least 2 centuries into the future, so its only fitting that this new section will be about 2 centuries in the past. Lets hope when you crossover to the new section, the bridge doesn't fall from under you."

Timeline: April, Season 14

Park Execs announced today that the new park section will be called London Square and it is going to be based on 19th Century London. It will be the second smallest expansion since Delfino Square years ago. London Square will open in March of season 15 and will feature a Mini-Golf Course, shopping stores, restaurants, and a hotel. During the construction phases, the monorail will be closed and re-routed once again.

Lets talk about the hotel first. It will be 200 suites and the working title so far is The Grand Victorian Hotel. In actuality the hotel itself won't look like traditional hotel. To best describe what it will look like is to picture New Orleans Square at Disneyland and how a majority of the buildings are connected to each other because they're actually restaurants and hotel rooms on the second floor. Thats what the hotel would look like; discretely disguised in the theming.

The mini-golf will be the feature attraction next season and it will have 18-holes and will be fun for all ages. The shops and restaurants will be located on the street levels of the park section while the second floors will be dedicated to the hotel as mentioned before.

Although there will be no thrill ticket attraction next season, Park Execs did mention that a really expensive, state of the art, new coaster will be built in London Square and will open during the parks 16th season.

The Mystery of the Season 16 Coaster
For over the last year, there has been talk about a new coaster that will be added to London Square next year. We may have a hint on the new attraction because there are articles posted in the London Square section with this message on it:

"The 5th of January, 1886

I've finally created a potion that will hopefully help cure what's wrong with me.
Last night I'd decided to drink my creation.
At first nothing happened, but a couple of moments later, I started to feel very ill.
So I rushed out of my laboratory, down to the cellar and thats when my head started spinning.
Once I'd regained my composure, I ran into the other room and started to climb the stairs up to my room to grab a vile of medicine.
As I started climbing the stairs which seemed to be endless, I started to lose consciousness.
The next thing I 'd remembered, I was running through the streets of London towards my laboratory.
I quickly ran inside and noticed my clothes were torn up and I can hear the horrific screams of the people in the streets.
What have I done?..."

So the new coaster will be based on the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde story. The coaster itself will be called "Hyde". The station platform has been built.

So lets decipher the the posters with the message.

- So during this part of the story you are Jekyll and the track will be red. Also at this part of the story you will be loading into the station.

So I rushed out of my laboratory, down to the cellar and thats when my head started spinning.

- At this part you dispatch out of the station and descend down to the right. The part that says "my head started spinning" means that right after the descend, the rails of the track turn green as you enter a barrel roll element.

Once I'd regained my composure, I ran into the other room and started to climb the stairs up to my room to grab a vile of medicine.

- At this part of the ride when it says "I'd regained my composure", the track turns back to red, turns the right and left, then hits a trim brake before you "climb the stairs" which is the lift.

As I started climbing the stairs which seemed to be endless, I started to lose consciousness.

- At this part while you are climbing the lift, when you start to lose consciousness, the track starts to turn green represented you turning into Hyde while still climbing the lift. As a hint Hyde is a crazy man, so think about what's going to happen while your still on the lift as you turn into Hyde.

The next thing I 'd remembered, I was running through the streets of London towards my laboratory.

- This part of the ride.... you'll just have to wait and see how it turns out... hehehe..

So the station has be built along with a quick drop to the right. The track color is red so far so its still in the "Jekyll" phase. There has been much debate on what type of trains this coaster will have and I've just found out that it will be the standard 4-seater B&M coaster cars just like the ones on Kumba and the Incredible Hulk.

Timeline: May, Season 15

So construction on Hyde is moving right along. During this part of the construction parts of the land under the pathway connecting Crystal Beach Bay and the World of Tomorrow had to be excavated but the pathway will remain open for park guest to still use and get a close look on the new coaster. We are at the part were you "descend down to the cellar and your head starts spinning". Which means the barrel roll right after the dispatch has been installed. **Notice that the rails of the during the barrel roll are green represented Jekyll getting ready to transfer into Hyde.

Also the "regain my composure" of the ride has all been installed. **Notice that during the part of the ride you can see the rails turned back to red.
