I just wanted to publicly RCPro for its continued greatness and high quality content and conversations.

I've been a heavily involved enthusiast for years, and a roller coaster lover since about kindergarten. When I first realized there was a whole subculture of roller coaster enthusiasts online, I started to search through the hundreds of sites devoted solely to amusement parks. The first site I joined was RCPro, after months of viewing the main site. As soon as I realized that I could be a contributor to the forum, I became a member. Months and years later, I have seen great conversations, and crappy ones. I've seen gallery after gallery and update after update amaze me, and offer me top notch information. I started as an annoying member who didn't know how to post, like all. The other members of RCPro were so kind to me, and made me feel good about my involvement. I eventually realized the right way to post, and even later discovered rcdb.com. I've since started my own site, visited parks around the world to ride, photograph and film rides, and gone to parks with other RCPro members, a few of which I consider my very good friends. I plan to stay in touch with those people forever, go on future trips with them.

This site really sparked my enthusiasm, motivated me to be a great site member and conversation participant, and indirectly jump started my career into the coaster industry. Obviously, RCPro has had its good times and bad. There have been people here much longer than me, and people that just joined last week and are just figuring out how to post. You have to work your way up, that's just how it is. I've always found this site to have one of the kindest atmospheres toward new members, and its easy to feel like part of the community within a few months.

There have been a few amazing debates recently. Thanks to all who participated/are participating. Those are really the core of coaster conversations, they set something off inside us like any good debate. We want to defend our side. I don't know about all of you, but I did a good amount of research to back up my point, and learned a whole lot in the process.

RCPro started something in my life that will never end. I am already in a good position as far as getting a coaster related job when I'm older, I have connections with high people (at this point many members do, its pretty cool!), I've sold photos, I do projects at school relating to coasters, all my friends know I love coasters...not only has the site been an outlet for me to let go of some of that energy I have regarding amusement parks, but its also been that spark I keep talking about, that keeps me going, still excited about new rides, and old rides, after years. I usually have temporary hobbies, but being a coaster enthusiast and, indirectly, taking photos of them, has stayed alive. Those flame I feel will never die, while others come and go. I hope the same goes for some of the many people I have befriended through the forum. This site I feel is the best, and is the only site where I am an active poster.

So, thank you for everything you've done for me RCPro (and staff, who come and go [a rhyme!]), you have given me a great experience thus far, I hope that will continue well into the future!

It is always nice to know that other people enjoy RCPro just as much as I do.
