Welcome to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for the Holiday in the Park Preview Night.

Bugs Bunny was on hand to take photos with.

And there it is, the World's Tallest Christmas tree, stretching into the night sky.

With the help of Captain Lee and Miss California 2007, the tree lit up the night!

The tallest Christmas tree in the world dominates the skyline, it is clearly visible from outside the park.

Carolers added to the festivities of the event.

The park looks so different. I love it. I can't wait to go there, hopefully I'll do it in the next couple of weeks.

Do you know is Medusa still closed? I really want to wait until Medusa opens so that I can get some night rides on Medusa.

Here are just a couple of photos of the Medusa repaint:

Word on the midway is that Medusa will be reopening around Christmas, depends on how the painting goes. After that, Boomerang will go down for paint.

You can check out some photos I took on opening night here (http://www.themeparkvillage.com/updates/sfdk/112307/) and a short review of Holiday in the Park here. (http://www.themeparkvillage.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=322)

And unlike V2, it really doesn't look any better in person.

I actually like Boomerang's new paint scheme, because it makes sense now, the colors match the train now. And Boomerang really needed a new coat of paint.

^^^, when I saw it, it was the nicest colors of any Boomerang I've ever seen...

If they are going to repaint something, they might as well change the colors...
