Yay :D

Here's what I thought of it:

The new support interface is alright, a bit confusing at first, but it works :p
The new coaster types are great! I especially love the maurer-sohne coaster
And it seems to run better, not sure if it's just my pc, but it seems that way, lolOverall, it's great!

I think this is a big improvement! I am really impressed with the Mine Train, although the track they include is ruined because every second you hit a branch, almost lazy really. The X-car coaster is cool too. I can't wait to see what kind of rides people make with these new features!

Ah, it's not for OS X yet. :( Will be massively awaiting this one!

I found the 1.7 version to be pretty cliche' with more coaster types and a few options.

I hope one day they'll take into consideration what people really want-more powerful editing tools (segment clone tool, stronger 3D editing w/ability to rotate strucutre any direction, better smoother/heartliner, ability for editor to track train speed/g-forces at any point along track, transfer/switch track & the ability to make closed circuit tracks run backwards, dual stations, better 3ds integration, etc).

^ They do and that’s what NL2 is for. Until then NL is receiving small updates here and there.

I haven't seen them express any real interest in NL2, but maybe you speak with Ole Lange on a regular basis and know more than me. If we want these features, and they want to make more money, then obviously NL2 would be pushed more instead of hacking together new updates to try and appease people.

What is the "twisted inverted lift texture"?

I have a question about 1.7. Does version 1.7 change or alter anything with the cartextures and/or 3D's that were made for 1.6?

I think it changed a few of the B&M coasters ( the invert, floorless and standup), but I may have just noticed those now, lol.

Okay, thanks. I was wondering about that too. But, relating to my question above, maybe I should of been a tad more specific. Does NL 1.7 change any custom cartextures made for NL 1.6?

Back up your cartextures folder and you will be fine.

Yes, very likely [there will be a NoLimits 2 one day]. We are still in the designing phase of NoLimits 2 and it will probably take years until it will be finished.

There were a couple of free updates already. The last free update was version 1.55. There will be more free updates. The updates will add new features and will fix bugs. Any major releases like NoLimits 2 (not sure when and if it will ever come out) will probably not be free.
