I know many of you plan to purchase Six Flags season passes for the 2008 season. If you do it today and today only, you'll get 25% off! This is only for regular passes and not Xtreme ones, but if you are going to get a regular one, get it now! The price differs depending on your home park, but 45 bucks is Magic Mountain's price.

Or, you can get a souvenir bottle and buy your pass at full price. I don't know why you would want to do that, but the offer is available.

Well it was only a one day thing and Six Flags didn't exactly make it overwhelmingly known to the masses. It was more of an internet promotion with the focus being on people who shop online for the holidays. There strategy seemed to work well because I know quite a few people who noticed the sale... but at the same time I can see why you did not.

Six Flags is really giving away the gate this year in hopes of making more profit with guests inside the park. These low price promotions are most likely benefitting families of 4, which is the gold mine target in terms of what demographic Six Flags is looking into. With 2008 being the last year of Sharpy's 3 year plan, we can only hope that Six Flags makes a solid impact on attendance.

Last year Six Flags generated an estimated 29 million visitors into its parks, keeping in mind that 7 of those parks were eliminated from the chain back in 2005. That ranks Six Flags in 2nd place out of the most visited Amusement Park chains in the world, with the Disney Franchise raking in the top spot with an estimated 110 million visitors to its world parks. If Six Flags can grasp an annual attendance figure in 2008 somewhere in the 30 million range, I think that they will find a positive outcome to their investments.

Well, both my dad and sister noticed it...they said there was an advertisement on yahoo.com. So, that's a pretty strong foothold as far as advertising goes.
