Alright, I made this thread last time, I think it is time to bring it back. Some coasters like Ninja at Six Flags Magic Mountain need a paintjob. I think Raptor would need one too. What coasters do you guys think need a paint job?
^ Ninja got a paint job.
A bunch of coasters that need one badly:
Xcelerator
Stormrunner
Top Thrill Dragster
Scream
Raptor (or at least get rid of the bird crap)
Dominator (or whatever it is now)
West Coaster ( I hate yellow track with a yellow train)

Yes, in march of this year. I just pointed out a spot that didn't look good, there was cherry red track in the background...

Top Five Coasters I've ridden in need of a paint job:
Millennium Force (CP)- Horribly faded, rusting through in many areas. Not exactly keeping the "modern" look.
Top Thrill Dragster (CP)- faded, covered in black residew by the end of the launch
Raptor (CP)- Covered in bird crap, faded, pretty dinged up.
Vortex (KI)- the track is noticably rusted in areas, and overall is fairly faded.
Top Gun (KI) Pretty major rust, looks like it was never painted :p

Wasnt Top Gun red?
The Storm Runner

Definitely Storm Runner. (However, I could have been having a mirage, but I could have sworn it did get a new paint job for Candylane. Idk though, cause it was dark when i was there...:D).
It went from a fire engine red to a...

Hmmm... Perhaps, everyone's favorite, Mantis, could use one. :)

I think Dueling Dragons and Kraken need one they were pretty pale last time I went there, but that was this summer so I dont know if they have painted them recently.

I thought that they repainted Hulk and the Dragons 2003-2004
Talon at Dorney needs a paint job pretty badly. They have slowly doing parts of Steel Force for the past few years as well.
They just need to go back to led based paint, that would take care of the problem of crappy looking paint schemes.

^ Thank the government and environmentalist for non lead based paint.
I think Xcelerator needs a paint job BAD!

1) Millennium Force- I thought it had blue track, not purple track.
2) Top Thrill Dragster- faded and dirty. I miss the bight yellow and red
3) Kumba- the track is rusty and faded
4) Phantom's Revege- Not bad, but the green track is very faded
There seems to be a trend with Intamins. Why do they seem to drastically fade after only a few seasons?

Dont you mean the Green Party and ACLU?
Xcel is terrible looking, TTD, just redo the launch and break run and we are good. B:TR at SFMM I think wins hands down though...

IMO B:TR looks really good all rusted down.
^ I agree.
I'm wondering why these organizations care if lead paint is used? It's not like we're licking the track. Or does it have something to do with "global warming"?
Lead paint was abandoned in the 1970's, and even if you don't eat it or lick the track, it can still be very poisonous. So, I'd rather have my health than a shiny roller coaster, I don't know about you guys.

Don't start Jake :D

It doesn't have anything to do with global warming lol. Lead is dangerous to humans. When humans come in contact with high levels of lead, they can be over exposed and eventually develop what is known as Saturnism, or the increase in lead levels in the blood stream. This triggers things like cardiovascular problems and neurological damage that can be spread to younger generations through reproduction. With the Neurological problems, you can experience things like seizures and even comas.
This is why when you go pump gasoline, the product says "Unleaded", and when you go to the doctor's office, he or she will ask you if you or your family has been exposed to high levels of lead. So yes, it does make things nicer, such as in paints of the past (even some artists have been considered insane thanks to the large amount of lead exposure that they received) but I'd rather go the extra mile and repaint my roller coaster every 5 years without the lead, rather than every 10 years with the lead, with that risk that my guests are going to get sick over it.

it's kinda of funny, since theres still container ships being painted with lead paint. For them it's beneficial to use lead.. but like Mike said.. in roller coasters it's not quite wise. Have you not seen the numerous pictures of enthusiasts doing unmentionable things to supports.
