This summer I plan to go to Cedar Point for 2-3 days.
Can you guys tell me about how much it will cost?
First word of advice - don't go for more then two days. Ethan and I knocked out the whole park in one day, and I was ready to leave after two.
Also, we can't give you a precise price because we don't know where you plan on staying, whether or not you'll have a Maxx pass. Then there's how much you want to bring to buy souvenirs, and food, and all that good stuff. Then there's plane tickets and all that madness to deal with.
So, until you give some more details we can't help ya.
My trip costed around 1200 bucks. I stayed in Castaway Bay, had a Maxx pass, brought a hundred bucks for souvenirs and another hundred or so for food.

^ Then you must have had very low crowd levels, because on a typical day at Cedar Point, it's next to impossible to hit everything.
It also depends on what time of year your going.
Here are some money saving tips that I use when I make my annual Cedar Point excursion:
Never buy sodas or bottled water. Go up to a concessions stand and ask for a water. It's free, and if they refuse then they are breaking the law. It's a super cheap way to stay hydrated :p
If you absolutley have to buy a locker for storage, and you have multiple people in a party, try to squeze as many things into each locker as possible, it cuts down on the cost.
When looking for a good place to eat for dinner, stop by the buffet near raptor. It's quite a steal, it's $15 bucks admission and it's all you can eat. It sure beats a $10 dollar cheeseburger and $3 bucks for a water, which doesn't fill you up . So stop buy the buffet for sure.
Don't play the carnival games, unless you plan to donate $3 bucks to Cedar Point :p
If you plan to buy souveniers, go for a t-shirt, it's the best deal.
If staying at the Breakers Express, use their discounts and room packages, they really help.

Yeh... bit of an open-ended question. If you're going for a day, it'll cost you the price of an entrance ticket. If you're going to go for 4 days and stay in an on-site hotel, it's going to cost a lot more.
I'd DEFINITELY stay for more than a day - I stayed on-site for about 5 days in the summer (tho we did holiday there from the UK). I didn't get bored - the crowds are large in the summer, so 5 days gave me loads of time, despite the crowds, to go on everything as much as I wanted. If you're staying on-site too, you can always go back to the hotel and chill by the pool.
I would recommend staying on the peninsula itself - ie. at Hotel Breakers. The actual hotel is a bit old and overpriced, but the location is perfect. 2min walk to the park... you can come and go into the park as much as you want. You can literally pop into the park for a morning ride on Maverick or whatever, then stroll back to the hotel pool :) Nice.

Well, when I went, I stayed at Castaway Bay, also.
My trip was cheaper, because I didn't have to fly. It was around $1000.
Food + Souvenirs + Hotel Perks = around $900ish - $1000 area.
I had a crappy suite, with no view at all.
That's the CON.
Pros:
I stayed for two days, the first day we had to buy our tickets, since we haven't checked in the hotel yet and got our packages, hotel packages are the best ideal thing I think, We got Twilight Tickets, that we so use at night, because night rides are the best. Then you get extra tickets, plus early admission inside the park. Coupons for the park, etc. Free Parking. All the goodies, plus the waterpark admissions [ Castaway Waterpark ] highly fun to check out, only an hour? LOL, nothing too good in the Indoor Water park, except for the Water Coaster [ Whatever you call it; can't think ], which you do get airtime out of your tube XD.
