Welcome to Dan's first ever finished NL coaster...Surge! This ride is short and intense, and has some great airtime moments. There is one point, I believe, where the G's enter the red near the end. Since this is my first coaster, the more feedback and constructive criticism posted, the better! Please take a few minutes to download and comment...thanks!

That was actually very well done! Maybe make the ride a little longer, because that would minimize the forces on that last turn or so where it nearly hits red. But other then that, excellent work. I look forward to see more coasters from you in the future.

I must comend you Dan for making a good NL coaster your first time around. There were some problems with the track, such as the transitions though. These were pretty snappy, more so than normal Intamins. I'd work on these some more so the trains can traverse the track more fluently.

The second problem was the launch. It would of been more realistic if you had the train stop before launching. This was only very minor though. If I were rating this track, I wouldnt take off any points as a lot of NL trackbuilders dont have their accelerators stop at the launch anyway.

The third problem was with the brake run. It probably would be a good idea to have a longer brake run. I dont think riders will like stoping that fast in a short amount of space.

All in all, the coaster was very good and although you had these problems, this is your first track and you did a great job. Keep building and I'm sure you will improve upon yourself and work out these problems.

I liked it. :) It was very smooth. :) A couple more elements wouldn't hurt though, and a longer brake run would be good to allow for 2 train operation. Short and sweet though is good to start out with, and now you can gradually progress in length. Also, it's easier to ensure everything is perfect. :)

For a first NL project, I have one thing to say. You certainly have a bright future with this program

I really liked the layout, the pacing was perfect, and it flowed very well. The colors were nice and simple, nothing wildly flouresent like so many coasters I see. What really intrigued me was how smooth it was for how few nodes were on it. The very long sections of track just seemed to fit perfectly, astonishing for a first coaster!

The only thing I noticed was the end before the brakes was a little intense, but I think if you decreased some of the banking comming into the brake run by 20 or 25 degrees it would help, considering it looked a tad overbanked there.

But I must say, I am really quite impressed :D Nice work, and I'm really anxious to see what you can do!

Besides that- Nice ride! I can't wait to see the next one!

The intensity near the end is something I won't correct on this project, but I'll keep in mind that it was too high for my next project.

I didn't have the train stop on the launch because NL uses LIMs, and not a Hydraulic launch. The brake run is too intense upon another look, but I didn't want to go out behind the station any further with the airtime hills. It was a fault in the original design plan.

It means a lot from coming from you, you're one of the people I look up to in the amazing world of NL. The banking was something I didn't double check at the end, probably should've.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Expect a new project to arise soon!

Wow! That was purely unintentional, actually.
