Hello folks,

I'm debating right now whether or not I should go down to Disneyland this weekend. As most of you know in California, it's sorta raining/snowing and won't let up until next week.

So my question is, is it even worth it to go to the park while it's raining? Are there many ride closures, etc? This is sort of a one shot chance, either this weekend or nothing.

Thanks,
Eric

Disney generally doesn't close rides due to rain.. and since most of their attractions are indoors, I don't see this having an effect.

Plus, it's hardly raining, mostly sprinkling on and off.

I always go by the idea that if you think it might not be a good idea to go, another million people think that too...

Im not sure how DLR works, you would need someone else on that, but rain is a good thing in my book...

Yea, parks in the rain are brilliant, nobody around. I just don't want to go and find out they canceled the fireworks or something. That would be dreadful.

I shall contemplate this. Thanks for the input.

I've found that people will avoid DL if it is raining (if it is just misting or spraying, people might still go), but you shouldn't have a problem since its mid-January. The parks are normally pretty slow this time of year.

I say go...as said, the rain really isn't that bad (at least right now), so you should be just fine.

As for the fireworks, they only ever cancel them if it is raining hard (or if it is really windy). That happened on New Year's Eve--that was a bummer--I was working that night, but there were no fireworks!:(

Well, if you go to Disneyland, you won't regret going there! Full adventure and experience is what you can have. The decision still depend on you! If you can't go this weekend, then maybe some other time.
