Thank you for all of those who chose to attend Knott's Berry Farm's 9th annual Winter Coaster Solace with Roller Coaster Pro! The event is gearing up to being one of the best of all time, with a few new twists that were not featured in last years event. It is imperative that all attendees read the following information below, as it contains instruction of obtaining admittance to the event, location information, and the official schedule as planned for Saturday, March 8th.

MEETING INFORMATION

Please meet RCPro staff member and contributor, Mr. Daniel Leavelle, at the American flag pole located at the front entrance of the park to obtain your official RCPro Solace pass and additional information. This pass is crucial as it will gain you admittance to the event. Winter Coaster Solace begins at 7am, so please be courteous and arrive between 6:30 and 7:00 am.

This event is promoted by Knott's Berry Farm, and as always, all members are guests of RCPro and should act in a reasonable manner. All members are required to follow Knott's Berry Farm's park policies (http://www.knotts.com/park/guest/faq.shtml#restrict). Like I said, things are supposedly changing this year, and I had to register an "official" RCPro pass so that Admissions and Ride Ops can check it for Park Entry and ERT sessions, along with everything else you guys get. This was told to me by the head lady who's in charge of the event directly over the phone. So its crucial that you tell me that you are registered so I can process an ID badge for you, for the event.

I was only informed today that the club I used to use as an affiliation the past 3 years is no longer accepted, and I had to join ACE or here - as I am on a very tight budget now and ACE is not an option before Solace, I chose to join this fine community! :-)

That rule is actually being scratched for this years event because of its limitedness . I will be making determinations of eligibility to those of you who are new to the site and are looking into attending the event. If you are interested in signing up, please email solace@rollercoasterpro.com giving your name, forum name, and a brief description of your intentions on attending with RCPro. From there a decision will be made.

I agree. But I also dont like the fact you are disqualified if someone is lined up for your seat. That's being forced to be out. We should be allowed to grab a new seat, as long as we dont miss a cycle, if someone is lined up for our seat...

Ironman will take place on Ghostrider, during the night ERT. It'll be monitored by Jake and me. Whatever number of people are left over after the hour will decide how the pot is split. Awards could also be added, but that will decided once we're there.
