Just read about this on screamscape. Apparently Chris Sawyer has settled his lawsuit with Atari. This has been believed by many to be the result of not having RCT4. So, what are your thoughts on this. RCT4 or not?

I don’t recall Chris or Atari ever mentioning that an RCT4 was planned for future development under the Atari title or any other title. You can’t, not have an RCT4 unless there was originally going to be one.
Now, does this mean that Chris won’t partner with Atari on a possible RCT4? Probably not. RCT3 was released in 2004 and it wasn’t until 2005 that Chris initiated a legal battle over unpaid royalties dating back to the late 90’s, early 2000. I’m certain there were legal restraints on Chris’ partnership with Atari but mention was never made that Chris despised his partnership with Atari on the Tycoon series when his piggy bank was short a $100 mill.

I dont think a improved, realistic Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 is possible, with Frontier staying on board that is. If RCT4 does happen, and Frontier does have involvement with the game, it would basicly be another Thrillville.
