'whiz's Lake Compounce Trip

Here are some photos of my trip I took over the summer to Lake Compounce. The photos were sitting on my sisters computer and wasn't able to send them over to my computer till now which is why I'm showing them now. There isn't much and not top quality just somethings that have happened to Lake Compounce over the past couple years that some people probably haven't seen and aren't on RCPro yet. Enough talking here is the pictures from my trip. Also sorry for some of the darkness in some of the photos. It kept being really cloudy and really sunny all day.

If you look closely you can see where Boulderdash got retracked last year. And I must say the ride got a lot faster because of this retracking.

Down time. Nothing different but gives great views all over the park.

This thing really does go into the woods and at night it is really pitch black up there. I recommend to everyone that it is worth it to stay till night and ride this thing. One of the best ride experiences ever.

Well I hope you like this update of Lake Compounce. Nothing way to interesting but just updating. I was going to get some pictures of their new car ride but my friend and I were too busy trying to get pictures of us driving in the car and then her camera was acting weird and before you know it the ride was already over and I didn't get one picture. Ill definitely be going back this summer and will try to get some pictures of the park that people haven't seen before with hopefully much better quality.

Nice trip report. I love the second picture, it looks like a mini version of Disney's Main Street USA. Boulderdash seems so awesome, great shot of the lift. When rides go through terrain as dense as that, it really adds to the experience.

I love PTR's of parks we rarely see. Boulder Dash looks like an amazing woodie, and that Screamin Swing looks like fun.

Nice pics. :smile: Are those buildings on main street new or have they been there for decades? Are any buildings remaining from the 19th century?

^^I agree; flying through trees really adds to the experience (Grizzly, KD). :smile:

@TSR - The buildings have been around for awhile, how long exactly, I don't know but I know they are old and just may still be the originals from when the park was started. When I go back this summer when its open I'll look for any clues as I know they have some signs around the park stating certain things about buildings and such.
