A new amusement park has just opened up on the outskirts of Cleveland, Ohio. The park opened its gates yesterday, which was July 4th, also Americas bicentennial. To go along with opening in 1976 the main midway(only part completed and opened) is mostly colored, themed, and named to the patriotic theme. The park has one roller coaster, American Eagle, which is a wooden style coaster. It drew a huge line opening day, as well as every other ride in the park. The park also has a stadium that shows a small musical(lasting about 45 minutes) in there small stadium. Playpark Cleveland plans to theme there 1977 expansion to a Spanish/Western style theme. They will also add several new rides, including two new roller coasters. Here is an overview picture of the parks opening day( you can barely make out the large crowds and long ride lines!). Thanks for reading and stay tuned for future coverage!:

This sounds like a cool park. Your plans for expansion sound really good.

Also, we decided to cancel the spanish section until further notice. The next section will be called Lakeside Heights. It will have two new rollercoasters and a water ride! As well as shops, restaurants, a big arena, and several other small rides.

Looks good! The red, white, and blue may be a tad overdone, but I like it. :) You may want to bank the turn going into the diagonal hills of the woodie and cover some of the queues (yay long queues), though. Looks like a neat little park. :)
What's the theme of Lakeside Heights? Will the patriotic woodie be involved in it?
I agree with Strom Runner, you really need to break away from the red and blue architecture.

Yeah guys don't worry I am stopping the red white and blue architecture for the next section. The lakeside area will be like a small town/village area near the lake. This also brings me a question. Im' somewhat confused on this but now that I have given you the details of what Lakeside will be modeled after, what colors should I use on my buildings? I have no clue what to use. Thanks for the comments guys!

^It's not a matter of continuing the ugly colors into the next section, but fixing what you have there. I don't know, it depends on how dedicated a parkmaker you are.

The hills on that woodie are a tad random in terms of height, but it looks cool so far. And that's a big *eeww* for the colors :( Try toning them down a bit.

Well I think the colors I have already fit the area perfectly because its a patriotic themed area somewhat and I think the red-white-blue goes with it nicely. Plus remember that areas going to be very patriotic anyway since in the storyline it opened on July 4th, 1976.
