Hey guys,

A few of you might remember I made a trip out to Branson a couple years ago. Well I learned a couple days ago I'm heading back out this year for spring break. Probably will be at the park for a couple days, not sure if I'm hitting any other parks. But it should be fun

I'l post a schedule of what I'l be doing tommorow or tonight when I find out. I'm pretty excited!

I'l have a couple hundred pics, so be prepaired for a nice long and fun read! :cool1:

Maybe I can beat my 35 streak on Wildfire... :wink2:

I need some advice for when I go,

For anyone who went during the last year, how were the lines for Giant Swing? I haven't been since it was built, and want to know how the lines are through the day.

-Thanks :cool1:

Alright, I'm going 100% for sure now, two days: Thursday April 3rd and Friday April 4th - I'l be in Branson the entire week. I'l be in the park for much of the day, probably not at night though (don't worry my camera sucks at night shots :p)

Expect a possible music vid depending on how much footage I get.

Never been to the park, but that edit button does wonders instead of making three new posts.

But if he wanted to bump the thread, simply editing wouldn't do the trick.

Definitely looking forward to more Powder Keg reviews.

^ From my last trip, I remember it packed a punch. Hopefully I'l be able to get on it alot more this time. Maybe sacrifice some Wildfire marathoning for some Powder Keg Marathoning :cool1:

EDIT: found a video I took from my last trip, no sound and it's low quality, but you get the point ;)

Alright I'm still in Branson, chilling in the lounge at our condo. I just got back a couple hours ago from day two of SDC, and let me tell you it was awesome. And I did manage to beat my old marathoning record

Expect an update late tommorow night, so far I have nearly 600 photos, but I will only post a couple hundred :tongue_smilie:

I swear to God Michael if you post that many photos I will kill you.

Joking aside, I can't wait to see the pictures :).

Well I left for Branson around 10:00 on Sunday, took 9 hours to get there, minus the one hour traveling over the time zone so it was around 6 when we got to our condo.

For most of the week we shopped at the outlets, did some sight seeing, ect. So Thursday we headed out to Silver Dollar City.

A granny and blurred view of Celebration City on the way from the highway. I sooo want to ride Ozark Wildcat.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2950.jpg

Around 9:30, the trams took us over from the parking lot, it was misting out and it was rather foggy. In fact we couldn't even see Wildfire from the parking lot.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2951.jpg

Cool sign, the entrance area is so well done.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2952.jpg

Beautiful scenery in this park.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2954.jpg

Tickets! I had a two for once ticket combo, only around $40 for two days .

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2955.jpg

I wonder if it's really made of wood...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2957.jpg

You won't see this at Cedar Point.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2959.jpg

Where's a Coaster Lover's Pass?!?!?

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2961.jpg

My friend pointing to where we are.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2962.jpg

I call it the Togo box.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2963.jpg

Part of a building for a water wheel.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2966.jpg

The crowds were terrible.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2967.jpg

*Drools all over keyboard*

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2970.jpg

Creepy...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2971.jpg

It was so ominous with the fog, you could barely make out the Immelman from the station.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2974.jpg

In the station, the Cobra Roll looms just outside.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2975.jpg

I really liked the fog, it enhanced the ride so much.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2976.jpg

My first ride of the day, and of the 2008 season. The drop was much steeper than I remembered. In the back row, it had ejector air. The ride was a bit more bumpy than my last visit, but it was still insanely fast. I never saw the trims go.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2977.jpg

I <3 Cobra Rolls

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2980.jpg

It is quite a ride.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2984.jpg

The corkscrew from the exit catwalk. Pretty sweet.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2985.jpg

It was very cool, never ridden in the fog before.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2988.jpg

High-speed turns are great, even greater in the fog.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2989.jpg

After 4 rides on Wildfire, the ride closed do to the heavy fog. So we headed off to Powder Keg. Notice the cool signage.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2990.jpg

I love the scenery on this ride!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2991.jpg

This section can actually be used in rare cases, according to the ride op I talked to.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2993.jpg

I wish the whole ride was painted this color. It looks awesome.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2994.jpg

Don't worry Ryan, ride review comming in a second ;)

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2997.jpg

Powder Keg is a very unique ride. For anyone who did not know, a portion of the ride is actually a salvaged part of an older ride, Buzzsaw Falls. (Picture: http://cache.rcdb.com/pictures/picmax/p4127.jpg)

The ride was very smooth, yet very harsh. It reminded me alot of a shorter Maverick. The style of maneuvers was very similar. The launch was very brisk, 0-52 in less than 3 seconds. Not quite a Top Thrill Dragster, but it was very forceful. The airtime is insane, the first two hills give you ejector anywhere on the train.

I was very impressed by my second visit to Powder Keg, the ride is in prestine shape, and keeps capacity when all the trains operate. (There was only 1 train operating when I went).

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_2998.jpg

Haha, I love SDC

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3000.jpg

A view of the queue, very cool theming. Notice the Dynamite.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3001.jpg

The trains are actually very large in person.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3004.jpg

A view from over the station, very Maverickesque.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3006.jpg

After a quick one on Powder Keg, heading off to snoop around and look at scenery.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3007.jpg

The detail in this park is great.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3011.jpg

Even the trash cans are themed! :stick_tongue:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3012.jpg

Cedar Point can't even compete.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3014.jpg

I'm not a kid and even I was awestruck. Pretty sweet stuff.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3017.jpg

Going to ride Thunderation, it was still very foggy.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3018.jpg

I'l go in the spirit of Silver Dollar City, "Tarnation!"

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3022.jpg

As I said, unbearable crowds.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3023.jpg

Headed to look around the Grand Exposition, I noticed this building to the right.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3027.jpg

*starts new coaster rumor*

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3028.jpg

Awww...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3016.jpg

We decided to try out a new eating area for the park's world festival. They had foods from all over, it was quite good!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3029.jpg

Cool! A german guy in suspenders cooking Brotts!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3035.jpg

Polish, it was amazing. The sausage was great with the bread.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3043.jpg

Gotta get some Italian in there!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3048.jpg

Yes I AM a coaster nerd.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3052.jpg

Crab is so good!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3055.jpg

Greek! It wasn't too bad, not a big fan of spinach though...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3057.jpg

Mexican food, it was my favorite. And no I was not the only one eating all of this, haha. I had a group with me.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3058.jpg

Oh baby, dessert! Eclaires are amazing....

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3059.jpg

Yeah, they have a talking bucket, you got a problem?

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3060.jpg

Time to get a new flat ride credit! Off to the giant swings.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3061.jpg

Great looking ride!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3063.jpg

Oh and you thought the crowds were unbearable, you should have seen the lines...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3064.jpg

Dude dude dude dude dude... I'm scared!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3067.jpg

Looking up, the cable system is really elegent on these S&S's

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3072.jpg

It was great! I still think SkyHawk is a little better because of the plaza below. But Giant Swing certainly has better theming, and awsome ride ops! Those guys were great.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3075.jpg

Yep, back to Wildfire.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3078.jpg

Powder Keg from Wildfire's entrance.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3079.jpg

Probably my coolest coaster picture I've taken.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3080.jpg

Getting onboard! I love this ride.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3081.jpg

Hmm... front row this time. I had the whole train to myself. :stick_tongue:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3083.jpg

After riding Wildfire a couple times, I went over to Thunderation to get some backward riding in. And look at all those switchbacks...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3085.jpg

Enter the creepy tunnel of... creepiness... these comments are going nowhere.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3088.jpg

Helixes are awesome, period.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3091.jpg

The station is sloped heavily. No transport wheels for this ride!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3093.jpg

Time to check out the Grand Exposition.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3094.jpg

Swings, yay.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3096.jpg

I didn't get to ride the Grand Exposition Coaster that day, but it looked kinda coolish...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3099.jpg

Ahhh! Escapies!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3103.jpg

Trainage. Yep, I make up new words.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3104.jpg

Best Employees around, it's amazing.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3105.jpg

Going with the wacky invention theme of Wildfire, I liked this angle.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3106.jpg

Immelmans are my favorite inversion.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3107.jpg

Concept art in the queue, I thought I'd share with you guys

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3108.jpg

I was looking at this for almost 15 minutes

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3109.jpg

Too bad they couldn't support it like that...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3114.jpg

I love this element.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3115.jpg

Close up of the lift, notice the anit-roll backs.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3117.jpg

Nearly a mile away, There are some cool views from this ride.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3119.jpg

I wanted a new desktop.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3134.jpg

These trains look remarkably like Hyper Coasters...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3136.jpg

A cool and somewhat rare angle of the drop out of the station.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3137.jpg

The whole exit area is elevated above the layout below.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3141.jpg

A train awaits it's departure.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3142.jpg

A blurry picture, but hey. Souveniers!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3143.jpg

I wanted all of them!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3144.jpg

The ride closed down, and lightning could be seen and heard. I got in a solid 8 runs, bringing my total for the day to 12 rides.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3147.jpg

Walking over to Powder Keg before I left to get some rain shots. It was downpouring.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3149.jpg

It was really bad.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3153.jpg

A very rare angle of Powdy, I had to elevate my camera a bit to get this shot. Pretty cool.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3154.jpg

These knothole shots are so fun to get

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3158.jpg

Exiting the park, it started flash flooding.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3159.jpg

Yeah I don't even know. It was in the souvenier shop at the entrance.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3165.jpg

On the way back, looking at Jack Rabbit again.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3166.jpg

At the condo, the rain finally cleared up. And I had to get this cool rainbow.

*Intermission*

Day Two...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3186.jpg

We arrived at 9:00, they decided to let us in early.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3187.jpg

The wheels on the bus go round and round...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3188.jpg

All aboard!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3190.jpg

There wasn't rain or fog, but it was only about 50 degrees out.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3192.jpg

A blacksmith giving a demonstration. The realism brings a great quality to the park atmosphere.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3193.jpg

We decided for an early morning ride on Thunderation. We rode backwards and forwards.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3195.jpg

Going up!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3199.jpg

Yeah you guessed it, Wildfire.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3201.jpg

Cool bubbles, the theming is really creative.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3204.jpg

We got in two rides, had a drink, then came back for a non stop 9 in a row. Bringing our total to 11 for day two, and 23 total for the trip.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3218.jpg

Awww!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3221.jpg

This squirrel was surprisingly tame, even for a theme park native.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3224.jpg

And then we cooked it and made it into a spicy skillet. :stick_tongue:
j/k j/k j/k

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3227.jpg

A very tasty sausage, potato, pepper, and corn skillet. No squirrel this time...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3233.jpg

Billy don't get any ideas...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3234.jpg

Now to go actually ride some of the attractions at the Grand Exposition!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3235.jpg

These were fun, but very cold.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3240.jpg

So I got a new credit, yeah call me a credit *****...

That brought my total to 41 coasters.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3241.jpg

A surprisingly cool angle of such a tame ride.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3271.jpg

Yeah back to Wildfire... again...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3273.jpg

I decided to get a few cool pictures from the exit area, the ride ops said I was fine to stand right outside the station.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3276.jpg

120 foot lift, 155 foot drop

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3277.jpg

The g forces at this spot are incredible.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3278.jpg

Backside of the roll, very smooth.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3279.jpg

Peaking through the lift...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3283.jpg

One of these people said hi to me, just thought I would throw that out there.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3286.jpg

Back row is heavenly.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3287.jpg

Can't go wrong with a loop!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3289.jpg

Favorite pic of the trip, not really sure why. It's certainly the first time I've seen this angle considering where I took it.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3290.jpg

Brake run, also a very rare angle.

Got in a solid 8 rides, yes I counted  Up to 31 now.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3295.jpg

Heck, off to Powder Keg.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3296.jpg

This turnaround is almost painful with your hands up.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3297.jpg

Lift and drop, it gives a nice view of Wildfire from up there.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3298.jpg

The g's on the first hill are very intense.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3299.jpg

Launching! I don't know if they added the Christmas Tree recently, I don't remember it being there at my last visit...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3306.jpg

Almost on board!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3308.jpg

There is so much air on this ride!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3311.jpg

Ouch... sort of.

A cool look at the shuttle aft of the launch.

I really like this angle.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3317.jpg

Almost forgot a picture of the sign

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3318.jpg

Let's see if the swings are open!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3319.jpg

Cool moss on the opera house.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3320.jpg

Why isn't it moving?

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3327.jpg

"Sorry sir, it's having a few problems with the launch sequence" ... Tarnation again!

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3332.jpg

Hello georgeous.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3321.jpg

A view from the swing's queue (which was still open despite the break down, the ride ops let guests in the line for when it reopened) No I did not break any rules. I am a smart enthusiast. :cool1:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3335.jpg

It was too cold to ride

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3337.jpg

Tom Sawyer stuff, very neat.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3344.jpg

A look into the maitenence area, I see some trucks... and stuff...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3347.jpg

Empty queue.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3353.jpg

In the back of the queue, I looked up into the maintenence stairway. I sooo wish I could go up there.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3354.jpg

Swooping out of the station... for the 32nd time...

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3355.jpg

She was cool. The employees got to know me. :cool1:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3356.jpg

A shot of my favorite B&M. Rode it 5 times, mostly in rows 4 and 5.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3361.jpg

Ugh... broken down again.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3363.jpg

Looking through the gate.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3365.jpg

It finnally reopened after a quick food break.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3366.jpg

*runs*

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3371.jpg

It's a great flat ride.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3372.jpg

A quick shot on my way to the loose articles bin. I like close ups.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3373.jpg

After two rides on the swing, I got a quick one on Powder Keg. Since they were only running one train, I waited about 10 minutes for this one. (my longest wait of the trip)

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3376.jpg

Boom.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3380.jpg

Okay, yeah I know, enough of the Wildfire pictures. I had to get one last ride in.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3381.jpg

I rode it one last time. I totaled 37 rides on Wildfire in 2 days, beating my old record of 35. Bringing my total Wildfire count to 72. :scared:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3378.jpg

I got in one last ride on Powdy, It was vaccant.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3382.jpg

Final ride of the day. I rode the swing four times, the ride op let me stay in my seat without leaving the ride.

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/Millennium-Mike/SDC/IMG_3384.jpg

And one last shot before I left.

I had a great week in Branson Missouri, and two great days at Silver Dollar City. The park is absolutley spotless. No trash laying around, employees are very helpful and cheerful. The shows are great, especially the Silver Dollar Saloon. I highly recomend taking a trip to Branson if you want thrills and a great park atmosphere. I certainly loved it, and it was even better a second time!

Thankyou for reading!

Awsome TR, its great that you had a great time, so how many swings did you get on every ride on Giant Swing, I know the one at KBF you only swing about five to six times.

^ Well it is a Trip Report, not just a few of the best pictures from the trip

Thanks for the comments guys. Jumpman, it's nearly identical to both the one at Knott's and Cedar Point. It swings around 5 or 6 times before slowing down. I liked it, but I thought Skyhawk had a better ride experience.

Geyser Gulch really makes me want to go play. The view from Wildfire really shows how much expansion SDC has brought to the area.

Nice PTR.

Damn Michael, awesome trip report. You have a few really great pictures in there as well. Looks like you had fun (as you should), and that fog on the first day looks amazing! I'd love to ride a coaster in fog like that.

How crowded does the park get during the summer?
