I'm assuming it does, but I just want to confirm it before I get a Vista for college. Also, any suggestions about how much RAM and processor and video card to get so I can run big parks in RCT3 smoothly would be helpful. Thanks guys.

The lo-down on RCT2-

The game functions properly on nearly all fronts. You may have to reset your resolutions, depending on what was previously set. The save/load game menus are also extremely glitchy, but they function properly aswell if you can get past the bad looks. Not being able to read anything when your saving is annoying, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Bottom line, you can save things and retrieve them later, so in that sense, the game works.

The only real issue is the screen shots. Ive been working on this for the past few days after unveiling a new project over at NE, and the only solution was to move the file and disk over to an XP, and take the screenshots there. For whatever reason, vista wont allow RCT2 to place the screenshots in C/Program Files/infogrames/Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 like it does in 98 and XP. The game does its normal function of the red box saying where the file is located, but the screenshots dont get saved anywhere on your computer.

The game works fine, as long as your not trying to take screenshots. Im sure theres ways around the problem, but I havnt found any yet. Also, for those who are really into the game, 8cars and Sob trainers work perfectly as well on vista. :w00t:

Awesome. Don't care much about screens anyway. Anybody know about RCT3? I don't really use RCT1, I just kind of like to say I have the whole series.

Guys, if you have a question about any of the games, simply go to the guidance and tutorials threads for whatever game you are using . No need to create more threads.
