Press Release
-Maine, United States
--Mike Sizemore

It has always been my number one dream, to create a place for the families of Maine to come out and a enjoy a Sunday afternoon, or a place where a mother can bring her childlren for a couple hours of fun. In a time like today, it has been relatively hard to come along a place as the one I am describing, and this is my plan to change that forever.
Today marks the opening of "Pebble Point, Park and Recreation Zone". Brought to you by me, Mike Sizemore, this ten acre park offers seven rides and attractions for people of all ages to come and enjoy. Entering Pierside Plaza you are met with the brisk breeze and scent of the ocean, the reason being, Pebble Point is built along a strip of land running next to the Atlantic Ocean. To use this amazing landscape to our advantage, two of our four amusement rides located in The Grove, interact with a cliff sitting over the sea. We also have a viewing deck that brings you right out over the roaring waves of this mighty ocean.
When the park opens it's gates for the first time today, it will contain seven attractions, consisting of; a shop full of souvenirs, a buffet style breakfast restaurant, a twisting flat ride, a picnic grove with barbecue grills, a ferris wheel overlooking a cliff, a wooden roller coaster running along the Atlantic, and a classic carousel. Not to mention many other experiences you and your family will never forget.
So I hope that you will come out, and enjoy your day here at Pebble Point.

It's beautiful. Huge improvement over your old stuff. I knew you had the potential in you:)

That caousel thing looks really strange though. I'd suggest ditching it.

Very nicely done!

How come the numbers in the first photo do not correspond to those on the map key?

zburns999- Thanks man. About the carousel, I just all around suck at making them and that was just a lazy way of covering the entrance and exit. I'll probably just redo it in the upcoming years and tie it into the story one way or the other.

IntaminFan007- I just messed up...make 1 in "The Grove" 6, and so on. Anyway, I'm glad you like it.

Looks good comet. Just the only thing is that maybe making a building for the info/lost children/etc. place instead of using the generic info booth that the game gives you. And I agree with zburns about the carousel. Otherwise everything seems to be an improvement for you.

Wow, this is one of the first RCT2 parks to capture this type of atmosphere, it's great! I love the way you landscaped the cliffs with the rising hill and beaches, terrific job man. You have some skills, I can't wait to see more from you

Plus I love that woodie, great feeling to it!

New For 1962

After a full year of operation here at Pebble Point, we have come to realize a problem in our park. We did not have enough places for our guests to eat, having only the Breakfast Bar for breakfast, and the Grill Grove which is reservation only. So we at Pebble Point decided that we would add a new full service restaurant over the off season...

http://img452.imageshack.us/img452/4436/scr213xi1.png

The restaurant being named Coors. Coors will be a classic American Eatery serving Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken, and pretty much anything your heart desires. Being a two story building, the main floor will have a family atmosphere and serve both lunch and dinner. There will be two dining options, one being a usual inside option and the other will be "picnic style" behind the main building.

http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/5943/scr212dj4.png
The top floor will break away from the family atmosphere a bit...being a bar and lounge, you will need to be at least 18 years or older to enter. We will be holding parties up there every Friday and Saturday night which will be incorporating our large party deck.

But that is just the beginning of our additions.
Due to the success of the Grill Grove and it being sold out almost every day of the year, we have chosen to add some things to make it even more enjoyable.

http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/1821/scr214ou2.png

You no longer need to bring your own supplies, we have built a shack which will sell refrigerated meats and drinks. We also added two outhouses so you no longer need to leave the Grill Grove to use the restroom.

http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6089/scr215xq1.png

Lastly, we have added a volleyball court. Personally this is the addition I am most excited about. Hourly tournaments will be held for the families with reservations to the Grill Grove. 5 people are permitted to be on each team, and the winner will receive a coupon good for $5 at the new food shack.

That just about wraps up the new additions, and we are excited to see you all at Pebble Point.

Future

You can expect a new exciting way to see the natural beauty of Pebble Point.

As I said before, stunning. I'm really glad to see development on this, especialy like the new restaraunt, that looks fantastic! You really nailed the architecture on that building, looks like something out of an outdoor dinning place that's pretty close to me, lol. Love the picnic tables, and good attempt at the volleyball court, this is looking great. Keep it up!

Oh, and BTW, this was my 100th post :D
